The IBA Mathematics and Astronomy Club is an initiative by IBA students to provide students all over Pakistan a platform where they could pursue their interests in mathematics and astronomy. Mathematics is the base of any other science whether it is business, engineering or arts. It is fascinating how intrinsically linked it is to creativity. You can come up with any sort of beautiful shapes with just a set of equations. There is not much one can say about astronomy, it has fascinated human race since the beginning of time and is still full of secrets and mysteries. Who does not want to go up in the dark sky and feel how everything is up close? Artists, composers and poets and have long been inspired by the night sky. It can help people to relax and calm themselves. Therefore, IMAC will bring to you competitions and lectures programs to help you revel in your passion and realize that nothing in this world is meaningless.
Mathematika is a 3-day competition which aims to provide the students and enthusiast of Math an opportunity to compete in different areas of Math and provide them with informative seminars and workshops. It will be providing skilled students with a platform for showcasing and improving their talents in this field.
